President's message for February 2012

Hello Gentlemen,

We had a great first half of the year and are now springing into the last half of the school year.  The men's club has played a big part of the activities going on around St. Catherine and will continue to do so.

  Congratulations to the 4 winners of the January BCS Football "TV" Pool.  They are: 1) Jerry Madere; 2) Maurice Valerio; 3) Don Engler; and, 4) Hans Liljeberg.

  Thanks to John Chryssoverges, Donald Duzac, Wayne Francingues and myself for helping to park cars for St. Catherine's Open House.  Mrs. Francis Dee should give us an update on numbers at this months general membership meeting.

  Coming up are more big events we need your help with.  We will sponsor 2 fish fry's this year on March 2 & 16th - come help us set up/serve/cook, St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 11 - don't forget to sign up and march with us on beautiful Olde Metairie Road, Nite out at City Park on March 23 - help sell tickets and bring the kids out to have some fun, our Crawfish Diva General Membership Mtng on April 4 - put a team together to compete, Jazzfest - sign up to help setup/work it/takedown, $10K Raffle - same place (Sheraton) with the Wiseguys, and the Summer Cabbage Ball Program.

  We have a new "Chef of the Month", Roy Zanca, thanks Roy for stepping-up.

 Remember, we work hard, play hard, pray hard!!!
